Do’s and Don’ts (After Care)

DO:

  • Hydrate like it’s your job. Drink plenty of water and keep your skin moisturised with gentle, non-active products.

  • Apply SPF daily. No skipping! Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher), even on cloudy days.

  • Stick to gentle skincare. Use calming, fragrance-free products — avoid exfoliants, retinol, acids, or actives unless we’ve told you otherwise.

  • Keep hands off. Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the skin to prevent irritation or scarring.

  • Follow your personalised routine. We’ll guide you with a tailored post-treatment routine — trust the process.

DON’T:

  • Skip SPF or sunbathe. No saunas, sunbeds or direct sunlight exposure for at least 7 days. Your skin is healing.

  • Use actives. Avoid any acids (AHA/BHA), vitamin C, retinoids, or scrubs for at least 5–7 days unless advised.

  • Wear heavy makeup. Especially right after treatments like peels or microneedling — let your skin breathe.

  • Hit the gym or steam room. No sweating for 24–48 hours to avoid irritation or clogging pores.

  • Ignore your skin. If something feels off, reach out — we’re here to help, not judge.

Wait 5–7 days before undergoing any facial hair removal (such as waxing, threading, tweezing, or dermaplaning). Your skin barrier needs time to recover fully.

  • No waxing on freshly treated skin. It can lead to sensitivity, pigmentation, or even microtears.

  • Laser? Hold off. If you're undergoing laser hair removal, let us know — we’ll guide you on the safest timeline.

  • Shaving? Best to wait at least 48–72 hours, especially if your skin feels tight or tender.

  • Avoid double-duty. Don’t mix hair removal with exfoliating products or treatments — spacing things out is key.
